A large firm with multiple retail brands was struggling to implement an ERP solution using Microsoft Dynamics. SOLUS worked closely with the leadership team to develop a cloud strategy that would meet all of the client’s business, financial, and operational requirements.

Solution

SOLUS developed a fully-managed, PCI-compliant solution with a secure, reliable, scalable, and highly-available infrastructure implemented in an SSAE-16 compliant data center.

This hybrid solution consisted of a public cloud for development, testing, QA, and a private cloud to produce web and application servers.

Dedicated managed hosting for SQL server database servers, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and Active Directory and WAN integrations. The entire solution was designed to eliminate CapEx, given that the service provider delivered the infrastructure, licensing, monitoring and management, and ongoing support for a cost-effective monthly fee.

How did we do it?

Serving as an extension of our client’s IT leadership, we worked closely with the team to evaluate the current IT landscape while gathering every detail of the project requirements.

Once a conceptual design was created, we leverage our extensive network of best-in-class providers to identify only those who would meet the client’s needs. Collaborating with the client and negotiating on their behalf, we were able to help them make a provider selection quickly, saving them hours in research, evaluation, and contract negotiation.

Upon approval, our team fully-managed every aspect of the project from implementation calls to daily status checks to ensure the project went as smoothly as possible.
