SOLUS conducted a deep dive into more than 10,000 customer POTS lines. In doing so, our team combed through thousands of billing invoices to determine that billing summaries from carriers were making it virtually impossible for the customer to identify per-line or (in some cases) per-location billing details. SOLUS then implemented a solution that eliminated the unnecessary charges and invoices through a single Telecom Expense Management platform. This resulted in:
- The consolidation of more than 3,000 invoices into just five
- The conversion of 10,000 POTS lines
- Cost savings from voice lines used to purchase a data network
- Total annual savings of more than $1.2 million
Total lifecycle management. Our approach to the problem and TEM solution gave the client full lifecycle management and a foundation for best practices moving forward. This, coupled with a now clean inventory and carrier accountability, means the customer is no longer saddled with wresting thousands of bills and wasting millions of dollars.
